I’m Kelly. I’m a self-taught cook and baker, travel enthusiast, and tv-obsessed editor, tutor and writer from the suburbs of Philadelphia.
I grew up in the kitchen next to my mother, who taught me how to make pink applesauce (no food coloring required), and my grandmother, who makes the best mashed potatoes and chicken pot pie (with wide noodles, please, no pie crust). Between my mother and grandmother involving me in the joy of Christmas cookie baking from the time I was six, to my constant Food Network watching from the time it first aired, it was quite clear that I belonged in the kitchen; it is my happy place.
